Introduction

Of all the books I’ve loved before, as of today this one’s my favorite next to my Bible. Why is there a man and he’s not mine? This was my question, too, February 28, 2014. Thank you to Orpah Omega Lee C. Marasigan who inspired me, really, to write again. I, too, am single and am on my nearly thirties by now. It’s funny Orpah, because you wrote the preface on your book on February 2012, and I got my book on February 2014. I should have started writing February 2016, but no. Today is June 28, 2016.

God the Son

Topic: God the Son Speaker: Josh Date: June 25, 2016 by:  +Iya Bulos   The series of the Tri-Unity reflection continues as I am privileged to testify how my faith strongly believes that Jesus is God, The Almighty God. There has been a lot of misconceptions regarding the Lord Jesus Christ's persona. Some people say that He is just an Angel sent by God above to preach and heal the sick. Some thinks Jesus Christ is a Ghost that died and has a risen soul. Others believe that Jesus is a Prophet. Before I have accepted that He is the reason of my salvation, I myself had a foolish misconception that Jesus as the Son of God - only seconds God Almighty (The Creator) concerning all the powers in the universe. There is a hierarchal boundary between God and Jesus' ability in terms of reigning the world and eternal life. This belief of mine about Jesus is totally wrong! It was true that my perspective about Jesus Christ before is extremely shameful! Only when I came to...

He's a Good Good Father

Topic: God the Father Speaker: Herald Canlas Date: June 18, 2016 Tri-unity seems to be a very sensitive topic. I am afraid to give a wrong perspective of what it means. Let me just share with you this picture below, and I will allow the Holy Spirit to provide you with wisdom. Okay so before we lose our mind, how about we first discover who God the Father is? God the Father, the first Person of the Trinity, orders and disposes all things according to His own purpose (1 Corinthians 8:6). He is gracious, compassionate, slow to anger, rich in love, and good to all He has made (Psalm 145:8-9). He is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1-31; Ephesians 3:9). As the only absolute and omnipotent Ruler in the universe, He is sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption (Psalm 103:19; Romans 11:36). His fatherhood involves both His designation within the Trinity and His relationship with mankind. God the Father, who has all the authority in heaven and on earth, also ...

Submitting to God's Plans

Remember this blog ? I can't help but write about what's next... I met a guy at work when I was in college. I was a working student. I loved him, and it was my heart's choice. Again, I let my heart rule. I was so into him, that I was even willing to leave my family for us. He smokes, he drinks, he didn't want to attend school, and worst thing is he cheated on me. From what I knew, it was only 3 times but it's no longer important. He broke up with me on our 3rd year anniversary. He chose to be with his girl, she was his officemate. My world crashed. For the very first time in my life, I went to a bar and cried over him. I couldn't remember what happened because I got myself so drunk that night. I was with my bestfriend. All I could remember was my brother picked me up, he brought me home and I was crying so hard that night. The next day, nanay brought me to the mall and bought me an mp3 player --- I wanted to have an mp3 player that time. I then realized...

The Manual of Life

Most women whom I talked to told me that from the very start, they knew that their husbands are the one. Some of them were boyfriends and girlfriends already since high school, some were since college, some met each other at work ... and so on. And they ended up having their vows in front of the altar. And I am very happy for them. There were also some who told me that marrying was a mistake. They would tell me stories of their pains, struggles, sacrifices, all those stuff which made their married life miserable.  This is for all single ladies out there... How would you know if he's the one? There's no definite answer to that silly question. But I can tell you how you would know if you are in the right track. And girls, I'm sure you knew this already. But you're just so blinded with that overwhelming feelings. Loving is a choice. It's more than an emotion, it's a commitment I know, I've been there. I've had a lot of failed relationsh...

i love my EVERYDAY ME

I enjoy being myself. I'm sure you do, too. At first, I thought this website was just a waste of time. After I got my free Pantene Conditioner sample from P&G months ago, I didn't feel the need of visiting Everyday Me site. I was like, what for? I learned about Everyday Me when they went to our Company and gave P&G product samples. After about 3 weeks, I got a welcome kit from Everyday Me. I wonder how they got my address, and I remember signing up before I got my Pantene Conditioner. I didn't open it not until 3 days after I received it. And I was surprised because it has a lot of discount coupons. I gave some to my boyfriend and some to my mother. I am a big fan of P&G products. But I never thought that I could spend less by just being an active Everyday Me user. Not too long ago, my brother also signed up for Everyday Me. And guess what, he won a one year supply of Head & Shoulders shampoo. He shared some to the family. Hahaha, it was cool! All yo...

We think of only one person when we're sick...

I remember writing this 5 years ago ... I can't recall when and how it started but it has been like a yearly routine for me and her. Asthmatic bronchitis is what I was referring to --- when I ran a fever, missed school, spoke in a deep, gravelly voice, the incessant coughing, the long sleepless nights, the shaking chills. What I remember the most was my mother. I remember how she served me slices of ripened apple, how pleasantly and deliciously cool each slivered piece tasted sliding down my swollen throat. I remember that she helped keep me on a precise medicine schedule. I remember her concern and worry, her watchful eye and keen ear, her sturdy presence in the doctor’s office as she stood by my side. Now, I am no longer a child, after all. I have being absent in school. I and my siblings were only allowed to miss school if we were running a mean fever or sporting measles or chicken pox. My mother is extremely warm, a bit strict, but gentle — she’s the sort...
