The series of the Tri-Unity reflection continues as I am privileged to testify how my faith strongly believes that Jesus is God, The Almighty God.

There has been a lot of misconceptions regarding the Lord Jesus Christ's persona. Some people say that He is just an Angel sent by God above to preach and heal the sick. Some thinks Jesus Christ is a Ghost that died and has a risen soul. Others believe that Jesus is a Prophet.

Before I have accepted that He is the reason of my salvation, I myself had a foolish misconception that Jesus as the Son of God - only seconds God Almighty (The Creator) concerning all the powers in the universe. There is a hierarchal boundary between God and Jesus' ability in terms of reigning the world and eternal life. This belief of mine about Jesus is totally wrong! It was true that my perspective about Jesus Christ before is extremely shameful! Only when I came to accept Jesus as my Redeemer, my Savior, The One Who died for my sins where truths were revealed to me. And it is very clear to me now that Jesus Christ is God our Creator, Our Savior, Our Almighty God.

Jesus Christ is God's Son in the sense that He is God created in human form (John 1:1,14). It is very important to know exactly who Jesus is in our way of life. When I say "know" that doesn't mean intellectual knowledge but intimacy with the Lord. As soon as I have claimed my Salvation to Jesus, my heart's attitude towards pursuing Him becomes a natural desire of my body, my mind and my heart.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is God. It clearly shows that Jesus Christ already existed from the very beginning. In the fall of man in Genesis, after the major turning point in the history of creation, Eve and Adam was tempted and sinned by Satan. God promises something that feared Satan - Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman, and between your offspring and her, He (Jesus) will crush your head, and you will strike his heel (On the Cross, Satan bruised the heel of Christ causing His death. This is the first promise of a Redeemer. This is the beginning of a long line prophecy about the coming of Jesus Christ.

In John 8:24 "I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that "I AM HE", you will indeed die in your sins." Now as a saved person, I never once doubted Jesus Christ divinity. Ever since the beginning, Jesus Christ already existed. He created the world. He is our Maker, our Holy Potter. Jesus Christ is even existing in the Old Testament. He is the "I AM" in Exodus, "God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”Exodus 3:14 | NIV Jesus Christ is also there even before Abraham was born. "Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” John 8:58 | NIV. "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him" Psalms 34:8 | NIV" The Lord is very wonderful, as He always work in His own majestic ways.

My love for Jesus develops everyday when I spend my time daily on my quiet time and Bible reading. The Bible is my manual in life. Everything about the Bible is Jesus. Knowing Jesus humbles me. I have come to a realization that all my wrong understandings in the past resulted a wrong character. Loving Jesus Christ automates to having Him live in me. He translated the way I live now and it is truly amazing! I will forever have faith that Jesus the Son of God is God. I am saved and will always be saved by His grace.

I am praying that that everyone in the world will be saved. I can only imagine the sweetness and perfection living with Jesus in heaven someday.

Birthday Gift for Beging

Do you guys remember Beging? She’s my sister. She is currently studying in ICCT College. I and Beging are best of friends. We share problems, secrets and we were partners in crime (that was before we became Christians; now we go to church together regularly).   I love the fact that she listens to me and she listens to God’s word every Sunday. Most of the things that I was telling my sister are indeed hard to accept, but she tries her very best. “Hupotasso” is one of the hardest lessons for her, I guess, because it’s very hard for me too --- yet we’re both trying our best.   Moving on, before Christmas, I kept praying for God to give me the ability to buy Beging a router. She needs it for her study. In fact, that prayer is written in my prayer notebook multiple times.    Jesus really is a faithful God and He will never leave me hanging with no answer. I was not worried when I pray for something lately. I cling to God'...

SIN is...

I like this, "command was an opportunity to trust God, obey God." We can't tell someone is obedient if there is no command to obey. How does this connect with "the Fall". Eve's decision to listen to the serpent and Adam's willful act of conniving with his wife separated the whole humanity to God. And separation from God is "death". The Fall clearly defines 'sin' as great chasm between God and humanity. At present times, sin is classified as to either small or big, either deadly or not. Sin is sin no matter what. Even simple idleness is sin. I wonder what Eve and Adam were doing and how come the serpent had his chance of speaking to them. They should be busy caring for the garden. However, I have no means of proving myself right that indeed they were idle that's why Satan had his foothold. But I strongly believe that we should make our time worthy of God's trust with the tasks He appointed us. That way, satan won't h...

Morning Light's 1st Ever CHRISTmas Party

Morning Light 1 st  Ever CHRISTmas Party Date: December 20, 2013 ( 09:15 AM ) This is going to be our first CHRISTmas party ever, and I’m soooo excited. I remember TL Pep told me, “Whenever it's possible, always spell out Christmas completely, because it's all about Christ!” Last week’s message was regarding celebrating Christmas the way it should be celebrated, and the reason why we really have CHRISTmas is because our savior was born --- so why should we remove CHRIST from it? Makes sense, I shared TL Pep’s advice to my friends. Pastor Manny led us. He requested us to bring food good for everyone. We, from Convergys and those residing in Manggahan Rd decided to bring Pancit, Lumpiang Shanghai and Siomai. Randy is our cook, as always. I and Randy thought of having exchange gift. Since it’s a very very late notice, we’re not expecting everyone to bring their gifts. It’s only worth 100PHP. We’re planning to have “agawan gift” --- TL Pep’s idea, lols. Convergys g...
