Giving my leftover is over... If there is one thing you can give to the Philippines, what is that gift? When I saw this question, lots of ideas entered my mind --- feeding program, volunteer for the rescue team, fund raising, or simply donate money, books, clothes, etc. Those are the things that I can certainly do, simple things but would surely make a big difference. Very easy, huh! But, is that what God really asked me to do? Giving the excess? I am a call center employee. In my 27 years of stay here on earth, I can’t count the number of times that I donated for calamity victims or to poor people, or to charitable institutions. I used to give old and unused clothes, groceries out of my extra money, excess cash from my salary. See these words: UNUSED, EXTRA, EXCESS. Poor poor victims. What if we don’t have unused clothes?
