Day 3: from IV to oral

Day 3 - Saturday, March 24

Everyone had to go. Ministry day - breakTime in CCF Eastwood. I was alone in the morning. I cleaned the room. I took a shower. I prepared Nadene’s food. I was a busy rodent lol. I studied (currently taking up Systematic Theology with my church friends) for our finals, read the Bible, prayed, napped, ate ice cream, hmnn and lots of ice cream! Pain was just okay until my nurse told me that all meds, I will have to take orally. Hmnn, not soooo okay with the idea but again, choice-less! It's not as if meds through IV don't hurt, they do, too. Pain reliever and antibiotic really were painful when injected through my veins.

From 1-10, pain in swallowing went a little higher to 4... still tolerable though...

Dr. Kirt was out today. There was a gorgeous lady who checked on me, she smiles less but she’s also nice.

Nadene came by around 3pm with Emji. They ate lunch, I had ice cream. Emj had to go by 5:30pm to attend another ministry in CCF Gateway, then go home to her family. Nadene stayed with me overnight.
