An Act of Integrity

This has been our favorite place for dgroup meetings. It's just a perfect place reserved by God for Bible study and fellowship. My pretty ladies can attest to that...! So as my christian friends...

Just want to share a short story of an act of integrity by their staffs last night.

As usual, together with my friends i went there for my favorite caramel frappe. That was around 5:30pm. We had to head back to CCF Eastwood for a short meeting, and decided to have dinner after in Mazza. When I was about to pay, that was past 8pm, only then when i found out that my coin purse was missing. I left my wallet at home so in my purse were all the money i have. Not to mention how much, and i don't think that matters, too.

I prayed then i grabbed my phone and i was about to message my family of what happened (we have fb chatroom) so they can either pick me up or have me picked up via grabcar/uber. Then I saw a message request in messenger.

And so i told Van about it - ammm Van is one of my spiritual mentors, and my friend too. Van's initial reaction was, "Pray tayo." And so she led the prayer while we were waiting for Estela's message.

To cut the story short, Estela asked me to go to their store and get my purse. Good thing i have there my ATM card where she got my full name. She said that his barista, Jayvee was the one who got it. She introduced herself to me as Ms. Marie.

I praise God for people like them, who work with integrity. That character can never be paid back by money. Regardless how much i had in it, the act of really searching for me on Facebook just to return my purse which was lost due to my negligence... That made me wonder what kind of family they have, how do they live their lives, i want to know them more.

And i will....

Birthday Gift for Beging

Do you guys remember Beging? She’s my sister. She is currently studying in ICCT College. I and Beging are best of friends. We share problems, secrets and we were partners in crime (that was before we became Christians; now we go to church together regularly).   I love the fact that she listens to me and she listens to God’s word every Sunday. Most of the things that I was telling my sister are indeed hard to accept, but she tries her very best. “Hupotasso” is one of the hardest lessons for her, I guess, because it’s very hard for me too --- yet we’re both trying our best.   Moving on, before Christmas, I kept praying for God to give me the ability to buy Beging a router. She needs it for her study. In fact, that prayer is written in my prayer notebook multiple times.    Jesus really is a faithful God and He will never leave me hanging with no answer. I was not worried when I pray for something lately. I cling to God'...
