Rockstrong for Coby
Kindly take time to read and share .... Thanks!
"Dear all,
Just to catch you up on what's been happening these past couple of days.
Coby was rushed to the hospital at 2:30 am on January 21 due to blood-streaked vomiting. Since his condition makes him prone to excessive bleeding, it was decided then that Coby should be confined for observation.
Because of Coby's deteriorating health, all plans to look for a more cost effective solution have been scrapped. There was a small window of opportunity in which Coby can still safely fly and we decided to take it immediately. Since our doctors in Manila have been in contact with SG doctors, it was decided that Coby should go to Singapore today for consultation.
As of this writing, Coby and his family are still en route to SG, and we are all eagerly awaiting updates on how their flight went. We are all hoping that it was an uneventful flight and nothing untoward has happened to Coby while in transit.
To date, the cause for Coby's condition is still unknown. And for us to zero in on a plan of action, we need to know the cause first. We are hoping that the doctors in Singapore can shed some light on the issue.
The drain on our resources have been great, and we are faced with a prolonged battle. The estimated amount needed is already in the millions. Our fund raising activities (thanks to your generosity) have managed to raise about 6% of the total amount. While we are working hard to come up with more profitable fund raising activities, we are humbly seeking your help to get the word out.
Please keep sharing this page to your friends and let them know of Coby's struggle. And if you can find it in your hearts to offer us financial assistance, please refer to the link below on how to help:
