A Place to Live, a Place for You --- MEGAWORLD at The Fort

First of, I would like to say super thank you to +Mamanee San Luis  for making me aware of this occasion.

That was my first time to attend blogger’s event. Chaynee, who is a friend of mine for more than 5 years, invited me. Since I was new to this, I kept copying whatever she was doing – I took photos of the spots that she also took photos of, I went to corners where she went, I shook hands with people she shook her hands with, and greeted only those people she greeted, ate what she ate, and funny thing is, I even got same prize that she got during the raffle. Lols. That was the innocent in me speaking.

Anyway, let’s just forget the nonsense thingies and focus on what really matters. We took a cab from Eastwood City going to McKinley Hill. No traffic. And even though we didn’t know where Information Center is, we didn’t have hard time searching for the place --- first because when we entered McKinley Hill, there was a very friendly guard who gave us direction and second, there are precise signages which are easy to follow.

On our way to Information Center, I saw McDonalds on our left. I smiled, I remembered my favorite chicken sandwich. Not more than 2 blocks away, I saw another McDonalds on the right. Hmnnn, cool! And there goes Banapple who made me really excited!

Pretty ladies at the reception gave us our name tags and had us registered. Then we chose the table at the front and enjoyed the great wine.

Robin, who at first I thought was Justin Timberlake, greeted us and asked couple of questions. It was just a casual conversation.

We had a tour on their showrooms with two gentlemen introducing to us their units, gave a bit description and uniqueness of each unit and how they differ.

From the experience and the discussion that we had, I realized how comfortable it is to reside at The Fort. I remember when I was young, my dream was to have my honeymoon with my future husband in Venice. It is now made possible by Megaworld Corporation. Naah, am not gonna buy a unit, lols. Yet, I can rent! But who knows, if I won the lottery, my first and only choice is to to live in "The Venice" so I can experience the romance of Italy.

Currently I live and work at Eastwood City and been here for 2 years or so. The Fort is somewhat like Eastwood, and I love it there, though The Fort looks amazingly new to me. People don't just reside at The Fort, rather, they live there --- where you don’t just stay to rest, but to enjoy life and living is all about enjoying.

It is also very obvious that The Fort is one of the most famous BPO landlords. Other than Makati and Eastwood, to us, call center employees, The Fort is known very well. If I love working at Eastwood, where I experience pedestrian life, what more if I work at The Fort? Imagine McDonalds everywhere! Yeah, literally in each building...

Only at The Fort can we find Manila Polo Club. I didn't know that, until that day , lols. Now, playing badminton is included in my to-do list --- it would cost me only 130PHP/hour to play. They also offer personal trainer for as low as 125PHP/hour. I'm so excited!!!! Also, I got interested in trying archery. Hmnnn, please don't judge me, but really, I haven't touched or atleast seen a real bow and arrow EVER IN MY ENTIRE life. So I think, this is the time. By the way, you may visit their website for more information. Choose and play the sports that you want. It's cool and affordable.

Though I don't study anymore, and I don't have kids YET, just fyi --- at The Fort we have international schools of the US, Britain, Japan, China and Korea ... and soon all countries which are part of the United Nation ---- oops just kidding, but who knows? Haha!

Now this is the best part. If you are a girl like me, I know you... I see you. We may differ in so many ways, but we surely have a common denominator --- we are shopaholic! And we all have favorites, mine is Aura Premier --- it is wonderfully made elegant, making it the best SM ever! It is located at McKinley Pkwy. 

Back to reality. Lols. This is my most awaited part, RAFFLE! Should they give one-month stay at The Fort --- "The Venice"? Lols, but I seriously told my self, should they? Again, back to reality. Who's gonna bring home a nice umbrella? La la la... Chaynee's name was called! Ayiiieh, I was so happy.

Next next... Who's gonna have StarBucks' gift cert? La la la.... Chaynee again? Lols. What's with Chaynee and how many entries does she have there, seriously? Happy for her!!!!

The next one is really cool! Wooahhh, I want it, I super want it --- overnight stay at Richmonde Hotel!!! La la la, and then Chaynee's name was called for the 3rd time! Happy!!!

Remember I told you earlier that I and Chaynee had the same prize? La la la, guess what! Yeah yeah, her name was called first, and I won too! And I super super thank God, really. God makes me happy in so many ways and that was a big surprise!
