.....

Just when I thought I could go no farther, God gave me enough strength to take one more step.

I remember what Kuya Bim kept telling us when we asked him to compare the mountains we were planning to climb, "every mountain has unique characteristics." When I was reading blogs and feedback about Mt Batulao, I guess I underestimated its wonder and difficulty.

First and last stopover was in Tagaytay. We bought ingredients for sinigang. Ofcourse, we ate Bulalo!

Hahah, that was me! After we ate Bulalo.

We headed to jump off, prepared everything as usual. I bought sleeves for protection against the sun. This time, we were with Joseph (orig BYOB) and Swaztika (Lester's dance group).

Then we started to trek. More more putiks and not to mention horses' poops - my shoes were covered by poops.

This is me, Lester, Michael and Eizhel again. We're like brothers and sisters.

When we climbed Mt Maculot, I thought Eizhel was masungit. But she's not. She's sweet and nice and thoughtful.

Open trail yeah, and my cute cap was very useful, so as the sleeves that I just bought at the jump off.

And ofcourse, here's my climb buddy --- my Didhie.

Peak 1

Peak 8

 Peak 9

Didhie and I fixed our tent.

La la la, it's time to rest.

Didhie with Swaztika. How they missed each other!

Sorry but I had to wake you up for our socials. Lols.

Ok, so Swaz please be careful with our tents... Lols. Nice performance.

Socials!!! As expected, lols, we won the grand prize for POT raffle.... So happy!

Time to go to summit!

I thought it was easy. Hmnn, was it?

Hahaha, we had to do it this way or else, tatangayin kami ng hangin.

For safety, Kuya Bim had to put rope around this aggressive boy's waist.

This is it! - with Joseph.

From jump off to camp site was easy, yes. Not really easy, but easier to Mount Maculot and Pico de Loro. But the trail to summit was life-threatening. There was this part wherein we would have to cross over the smooth big rock by crawling, and on our left and right is bangin. I thought I couldn't do it. There's nothing to hold on to except for my belief that God is with me. Just when I thought I could go no farther, God gave me enough strength to take one more step.

You can never overcome even the easiest mountain to climb without God. Same goes with the fact that no mountain too high that you cannot climb if God is with you. I will always keep this in mind.
